How does the altitude of stars in their respective hemispheres change over time?

the 'altitude' of the stars does not change appreciably relative to the Earth..... they are where they are and that doesn't change ... all that changes is which bunch of stars the Earth's pole is 'pointing' at and whether it's early evening or just before dawn..... the Earth moves... the stars don't ... as far as we can actuallly SEE.... really....
