I do judo and i want to find another sport?

i do judo and i want to find another sport to do after cl i want to do kickboxing but i heard its to violent, my dad feels like i could get hurt more easily. i have also considerd jiu jitsu, and boxing. as you can tell i like martial arts, can you tell me what else i could do or if its a good idea to go along with the opitions i am considering now
