Are fight clubs legal?

I would like to start a fight club, but there are, of course, some legal issues with such an organization. If it were done on my own private property, and all involved were there of their own free will, and all had agreed (possibly in binding contract form?) not to press charges, would it be legal? Illegality won't deter me, but knowing that I am at a slightly smaller risk of spending my life in prison would be comforting. All respect to Sir Cooper. I liked the guy. He was intelligent, had heart and a great left hook. I think Cooper could've been better than he was but he was a bleeder. Most of his loses were due to him getting cut up. Ali didn't take him seriously as he should have and might have lost that fight if Dundee hadn't torn his gloves. To Ali's credit he came out the next round like a lion. Ali was huge and look what Cooper did to him. Jimmy Ellis was much smaller, slower and not nearly as good. I think the pacific division will be the toughest. The ducks have got the best first line in the league and they're not just coming to play they're coming to fight and win. The kings have now got Richards and kopitar's back, they had a chance to win the cup last year until Kopitar broke his ankle. The sharks are just a hard working team that goes to the net they were doin good last season as much as it kills me to Say. The stars almost made the playoffs but there're a good team with some really good strong players. Why does my hydorgen bomb not work properly?

Take a 2 liter bottle, stick a nail in the front and back, and fill with about 1/5 salt and 4/5 pure distilled water. Connect the nails to a power source (1.5v to 30,000v depending on the speed you want). Rate/fix my elemental/evil hero deck?

Hmm well for starters I don't see any of the Evil hero fusions so I think Darkcalling is worthless, if I'm not mistaken on its effect. Jar of greed is never worth it unless you use a 40 card deck flat. If you have a 45 card deck and use jar of greed you get to draw a card that you normally would've drawn for the turn if Jar of greed were not in your deck, so I'd take it out. Also Neos, why? The other E-heros can do with out their alien counterpart, so unless you want to make a neo-spacian deck I'd stay away from the big guy. E-Call is a great card, you should definitely run two. Also with generally the same effect, Reinforcement of the Army, in which you should also run one or two, because almost all of the E-heros are warriors. Finally wroughtweiler, goddess with the third eye, and versago. Replace them all with king of the swamp. He can search your deck for polymerization as well as act as a substitute. If you'd like a E-hero decklist with these changes, let me know and I can give you one. Hopefully I've helped you fix your deck, good luck!

Why do NBA teams get so excited about European/international prospects?

I mean, how many chances do you get to see that player? Maybe once or twice or if you go to the Nike Hoops Summit. Maybe you see some footage of three of their games but that's really it. Also, some of these players end up staying overseas for a couple more years and then you waste a potential star draft pick. They also seem to be a little less aggressive and softer than some American players. Then you see some players like Pau Gasol and Dirk Nowitzki who have had phenomenal careers so far but there aren't that many elite foreign plays besides those two. I'm not trying to sound like a bigot or something but that's just my opinion.

If your dog ate rat poison he would bleed to death. A simple blood test would tell you if that was the problem. We had pups once that got into mouse poison once at a family members house. But we brought them to the vet immediately, we didn't wait. The vet induced vomiting and our pups were put on Vitamin K for a while to help their blood clot. They did fine with appropriate treatment.

I'll echo what Paul in SD said. I was appalled the first time I opened up a Bose speaker and saw the junky components they used. I build (or rebuild existing) all my own speakers so I don't keep close tabs on what is commercially available. HK and JBL are now pretty much cheaply made consumer level speakers from what I have seen. Polk and Klipsch seem to have maintained their build quality over the years. If you want good speakers go to a shop that specializes in what we used to call Hi-Fi and is now known as Home Theater. Make sure they aren't a Bose dealer as that company forces dealers to push it's products. I should qualify my statement that don't keep close tabs on what is commercially available with the statement that I have done considerable research on Bose speakers and they are indeed truly appalling from a standpoint of accurate sound reproduction and value. This is particularly true of their "Acoustim" line.

I have only seen the film adaptation of The Golden Comp so that is all I have to go on. I liked how the "church" was portrayed in the film. Though embellished, it effectively conveys how the church tends to seek power and force people to abide by their specific set of rules while trying to get rid of people who threaten them. The fact that the Vatican banned the book and the film is a perfect example of this. The church can criticize who and what ever it wants but it takes active steps to silence anyone who criticizes it.

Can I Get Bright Blue or Purple From Bright Red Hair?

At the moment my hair is scarlet. I'm a bit of a goth and I have been dying it bright red for quite some time but now everybody has red hair since Rihanna did it. The only reason I did it in the first place was to be different! From what I understand, if someone was falling into a black hole and someone else was orbiting the thing, the person orbiting from a safe distance would observe the faller move slower and slower as he approached the event horizon, but would never actually be seen going past the event horizon. Would this mean that the person falling into the hole would see time move faster and faster around him, and see thousands of years over a short period of time? Need Help with Qual ysis of an Unknown Salt.?

I am trying to perform an ysis of an unknown pure compound from the Slowinski & Masterton Qual ysis book. I have a salt that is soluble in nothing I have tried so far-- 6M NH3, 6M HNO3, 6 M NAOH, 12 M HCL, 6 M HCL, 6M H2SO4, and a couple more I can add if need be. It seems BaSO4 might be present, given the lack of any solubility seen so far. My salt is white with gray. BaSO4 is white but what would make my salt gray and also not be soluble in any of these reagents? I saw slight solubility (I think) with 6 M HCL. I can answer more on observations too if need be. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

What are the best shoes for standing for long periods of time?

I'm on my feet for 5-7 hours at work and my feet are killing me by the end of the shift, particularly my heels. I wear my puma running shoes because I don't really own any other sneakers or "work appropriate shoes." Oil companies cannot say supply and demand justifies the cost and also claim a $43 billion profit over the course of 3 months. Some profit, yes, but not $43 billion. Bush enjoys wars and war mongering so why is he so slow to attack the big oil companies? Does any investor realize that the United States gets the bulk of their oil from Canada and not from Venezuela or Saudi Arabia or the Middle East? What is the cost coming from Canada? Nowhere near as much as from those 2 countries. When i shop for groceries or a new car I go for the best prices. Why don't American investors continue to do the same by investing more in the Canadian oil? Hey so i am a 15 year old guy and i am in need of serious help! Well not really, but it's gross and i need to get rid of it. my roommate has been acting a little out of sorts lately...and I think that the end of the semester just exaggerated it more, with the stress of having to write papers, final exams, etc. But she started to treat me really weird, like when we p by each other she pushes (kind of aggressively) ped me. Today she left cash on the refrigerator door for he utility bill. I prefer she pays me her share of the bill in person, so that there's no issue later on of "I left it on the fridge, why didn't you get it", etc. It's just more solid and final when it's in person. do you think i should reinforce that?

I am am outsider in my family, what can I do?

I am the outsider. I do not have the same relationship with my mom and dad that my sister or brother does. I am the oldest. I left home 17 years ago when I was 18 because my house was not a very pleasant place to be in. I moved in with a man and later married him. we have been married for 14 years and have 3 children. My parents did not approve of my husband and turned thier back to me for almost 7 years. When I was pregnant with my 1st child, I tried to patch things up and made a little progress with my mom. Not so much with my father. He didn't come to the hospital when my son was born, and in fact, didn't see him until he was 7 or 8 months old. Over the past 14 years the relationship with my family is platonic at best. We do holidays and birthdays, but I have no feeling of connection and no one really goes out of thier way to make me or my husband really feel welcome and a viable part of the family. My sister is extremely close to my parents. She is the youngest. My mom and her are more like best friends than mother and daughter. Mom is also alot closer to my sister's kids than mine, I think simply because they spend so much time together. They even go on vacations together. They ask me to go along and I did once, and I will not go again. We might as well have been strangers in the group, no one cared that we were there. My father took my brother and brother-in-law fishing on a rental boat and never asked my husband to join them, they just all left and he sat at camp with me, playing cards. I went through a long depression when I left home and it took a long time to get through it. Now I wonder if having a family that treats me as an outsider is worth it. Does anyone have any ideas?

We rent from a very well known reality company, we've lived here for almost 2 yrs and we've had tons of problems since day 1. When we moved in the owners son had his stuff in garage for 2 months couldn't use the space ( we were told that it would be gone by day we moved we lived 4 states away and arrived at midnight and saw this ) we had a walk threw list (which we keptand copied ) the owners son didn't clean house took me 4 days to clean 4,000sq house it says in the booklet we have that we have to have carpets cleaned and chimney cleaned ( im allergic to wood burning and have never used both fire places) they don't look like they have been cleaned in 20 yrs . What to do when your mother in law hates you...I mean really hates you!?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years, we are getting married in June. My soon to be mother in law hates me....I don't know what to do. They give us money, they let us live in their second home rent free now after they bought bigger home and moved out of state. Why are middle schools and high schools so obsessed with teaching about WW2 and the Holocaust?

I know it's important but it's like all we ever learned about from 6-12 grade. In history cl we would get through all the book up to WWII by about early March and no joke, the rest of the unit would be spent on WWII and we never got to Korea, Vietnam, the hippies, Reagan, Clinton and 9/11 at all. We read five different about the Holocaust in reading cles (Number the Stars, Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Diary of Anne Frank, Night and Schindler's List) but we only read one of Shakespeare's plays (MacBeth). I took a religious studies cl and when we got to Judaism all they talked about was the Holocaust like no other part of their history mattered. Is this just my school or it all schools? No wonder kids don't know any history we only focus on one part of it!

I'm 29 and as a small child I had chronic ear infections sometimes my symptoms wouldn't even show up for a day or two but I would run a high fever. A high fever means there is sometime of infection within her little body. Just keep an eye on her and if by tonight she's not better take her to the doctor or ER. Hope this helps.

When you change the water, you shouldn't be replacing 100% of the water each time - you are throwing off the balance by doing this. since you have a bio-wheel and a carbon filter they should be doing a good job. 3 gallons isn't a whole lot of water -the slightest thing that goes off-kilter will throw the whole system off. Let the filter do it's job - just add more water as water is needed, and resist the temptation to empty it completely - i bet it settles down before long. Also DON'T use any chemicals in the water that kill algae, etc. - those always cause more harm than good. AquaSafe is fine if it's just an ammonia/chlorine remover. Don't overfeed your fish either - that can foul the water faster than anything. One fish only needs a few granules of food, and if there's any left floating around in the tank after a few minutes, then this is probably where your problem lies. Good luck.

Is this implantation cramping or did I ovulate twice?

This is my first month TTC. I usually have 35 day cycles. My last period was 21MAR. I expected to ovulate around the 19th of APR and started using OPK on cd11 to be safe. On cd15 I experienced cramping and EWCM. On cd16 I didn't have a pos OPK, but it was much higher than the day before. I also started spotting on cd16-cd19 - brownish. Husband and I BD on cd12 and cd17. I umed that maybe I missed ovulation with the OPK and ovulated on cd15. 12 dpo I took a HPG - BFN. On cd26 I experienced light cramping, bloating, a pulling sensation on my right lower abdomen and EWCM. I took another pregnancy test, BFN, and then out of curiousity I took and OPK - it came back positive. I've tested positive on the OPK for the following two days (with EWCM), also. Just to be sure, husband and I BD this morning. I'm just curious as to whether I'm REALLY ovulating twice or it's possible the OPK is picking up HCG the HPT can't.....

First try a cotton swaddle blanket. It's a wearable blanket. It will keep her nice and secure like if she is in your arms. Also buy a security sleeper. Your scent close by might help. My daughter was the same way. When I placed her in the safe sleeper she slept longer. If she started to cry I would just reach my arm over and pat her bottom or rub her head and she would go back to sleep.
